Welcome to the Brandon Fire & Emergency Services (BFES) web site. There is a wealth of emergency services safety information and details about the services we provide to Brandon and surrounding area.

Fire suppression, prevention and inspection services as well as emergency paramedic response and ambulance transfers in partnership with the Prairie Mountain Health region, are some of the many areas that receive our attention. Please explore our website to get a more complete look at what we do, who we serve, and the programs we support.

We are very proud of the recently constructed #1 Fire Hall. Completed in 2010, our new facility is also home to the Provincial Emergency Communications Centre. Its design has won several awards and is meeting the modern needs of the department and community.

The museum is a highlight for our visitors and I would like to invite anyone interested to visit the Hall for a tour on one of our Tuesday open houses.  Tours are given by retired members who are also part of the archives committee that catalogued and organized the display in the museum.

As our department changes to meet the evolving needs of the City of Brandon and surrounding Rural Municipalities, please come back to this website often to see what is new and exciting. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and feel free to give us your feedback by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
