Open Air and Fire Prevention By-Laws

 

Brandon Fire & Emergency Services Prevention Division requires permits or completed forms in order to comply with the Fire Prevention and Open Air Fire By-laws.The Permits section below provides links to the information packages and permit applications.The Forms section provides links to Fire Prevention forms.

 

Permits:

Outdoor Burning Appliance Permit Application (Fire Pit)

Open Air Fire Permit

Special Event Fire Permit

Special Event Permit

Fireworks Waiver

 

No person shall purchase fireworks, fire, set off, or otherwise ignite any fireworks in or above the
City except under a permit issued by the Fire Chief which is required to be in compliance with the
conditions of the City of Brandon By-law.

 

 

Note: Only current permit applications will be accepted. It is not necessary to renew fire pit permits every year. A new application is required if there has been a change in information from the original application or in property ownership.
